Female Dormitory Manager

 

Position Title:Female Dormitory Manager

Qualifications:

Position Summary:

The Dorm Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety of the scholars and keeping a positive dorm atmosphere conducive for continuous learning.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Schedule and run a mandatory dorm orientation for all scholars and their parents covering the dorm rules.
  2. Get to know the scholars / dormers and promote a safe atmosphere that will make all scholars / dormers feel comfortable in the dormitories.
  3. Formulate plans and programs that may promote camaraderie among scholars / dormers.
  4. Help in managing student behaviour and discipline of schoars / dormers.
  5. Work cooperatively with other work units to coordinate dormitory activities.
  6. Enforce the school's dormitory guidelines and rules and document all inconsistencies or infractions involving the dormers / scholars and report it to the proper school authority/ies.
  7. Help perform room inspections.

Job Functions:

  • Performs a wide variety of skilled clerical tasks at the Office of the Campus Director (OCD);
  • Receives, sorts, copies and stamps incoming and outgoing correspondence, bills and other documents;
  • Encodes correspondence, forms, reports, certifications, memos and other documents for dissemination to various units / sections;
  • Keeps custody of supplies requested;
  • Takes charge in the maintenance and safekeeping of records;
  • Attends to telephone calls and visitors;
  • Does other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Functions:

  • Assists in the cleanliness of the school and in the preparation of facilities for school programs;
  • Render services such as minor repairs and messengerial tasks;
  • Assists in fixing and maintaining water and sanitary facilities of the school;
  • Responsible in planting, gardening and watering of plants;
  • Coordinates with the supervisor and does other works assigned from time to time.
