Administrative Officer (Property / Supply Officer)

 

The position is contractual in nature and shall be reporting to the Finance and Administrative Division (FAD) while performing the following duties:

  1. Assists in the preparation of Annual Procurement Plan (APP) of supplies and materials;
  2. Prepares replenishment and safekeeping of supplies / materials on stock periodically;
  3. Assists in the preparation of the procurement and issuance of supplies and materials, and prepares documentation for such (i.e., Purchase Request, Abstract of Quotations, ARE, PO, etc.);
  4. Conducts inspection and inventory of supplies, materials and equipment as well as the repair of equipment / facilities, property, and disposal of waste materials, and prepares the corresponding reports for such (i.e., AIR, WMR, etc.);
  5. Assists in the preparation and submission of monthly report on supplies and materials issued;
  6. Recording of donations for the PSHS System / OED, if any;
  7. Assists in the preparation of an updated Inventory / PPE report on a quarterly basis;
  8. Assists in the preparation and documentation of the APCPI; and
  9. Does other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

The term of employment is for a period of six months, renewable depending on the personnel’s performance, with a daily wage of Php 784.00.

Requirements

The following are preferred qualifications for the post:

  • Bachelor's degree holder;
  • 1 to 2 years of extensive experience in government property and supply management;
  • With knowledge in government procurement law (R.A. 9184);
  • Has good command of English language (oral and written); and
  • Willing to learn and is a team player.

The position is contractual in nature and shall be reporting to the Accountant III of the Office of the Executive Director while performing the following duties:

  1. Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports and schedules for the DBM, COA, BIR, DOST and PSHSS Office of the Executive Director;
  2. Records, posts and maintains the books of account of the PSHSS Office of the Executive Director;
  3. Assists the Accountant III in the review and certification as to the completeness of supporting documents, fund availability and propriety of financial transactions subject to COA audit;
  4. Assists the Accountant III in coordinating with other FAD units and Campus Directors under the PSHS System regarding funding analysis and its utilization;
  5. Assists in the review and implementation of financial policies regarding expenditure, collection and property management; and
  6. Performs such other duties as may be assigned or required from time-to-time by the immediate supervisor.

The term of employment is for a period of three / six months, renewable depending on the personnel’s performance, with a daily wage of Php 905.00.

Requirements:

The position is contractual in nature and shall be reporting to the Office of the Executive Director while performing the following duties:

  1. Coordinate with Campus GAD Focal Point System Members in planning, implementing and assessing the agency's gender mainstreaming efforts;
  2. Consolidate GAD Accomplishment Reports according to the standards set by the relevant government authorities (i.e., Philippine Commission on Women, Department of Budget and Management, Commission on Audit, National Economic and Development Authority, Department of Science and Technology - Gender and Development Office);
  3. Ensure the timely compliance to reportorial requirements related to gender mainstreaming efforts of the Philippine Science High School System;
  4. Draft project proposals on GAD-related projects/ programs;
  5. Prepare narrative reports on the conduct of GAD related projects;
  6. Lead in drafting the agency's GAD related capacity building program for both members of the GFPS and the general PSHS community (i.e., client and organization focused GAD activities);
  7. Perform logisitical preparations for system-wide GAD related projects; and
  8. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the head office.
