He did his thesis, Dissecting patterns of microexon splicing during transcriptional elongation, at the Yale University, United States of America.
In 2019, he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in BS Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of the Philippines Diliman and received the Gawad Tsanselor para sa Natatanging Mag-aaral.
