She was once a Pisay student at PSHS-Main Campus Batch 1997. Back then, little did she know that her journey would lead to the pages of scientific history.

 She graduated from the Molecular Biology and Biotechnology program at the University of the Philippines-Diliman and has since soared to incredible heights in the field of science.

 During the onset of the recent global pandemic, she spearheaded an RT-PCR training program to detect SARS-CoV-2. This earned her the title of 2022 Outstanding Women in the Nation’s Service awardee.

 Today, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗣𝗶𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗯𝗮𝗱 is on the 2023 Asian Scientist 100 list. She’s one of the 14 Filipino scientists who’ve made their mark on that prestigious roster.

Her journey embodies the very spirit of Service to the Nation that the Philippine Science High School stands for. A true gem in our Pisay community.
