To sustain leadership in education, Executive Director Lilia Habacon urges Philippine Science High School – Southern Mindanao Campus (PSHS-SMC) to support Dr. Jonald Fenecios through collective passion, synergy, and resilience.
In her message during the opening of the 33rd Founding Anniversary of Pisay-Davao on February 5, Habacon said that 2021 is a year of transition for PSHS-SMC because of change in leadership and encouraged the faculty members, administrative staff, students, parents, alumni, non-teaching personnel, and the entire SMC community to support Dr. Jonald Fenecios to make the culture of excellence, whether virtual or face-to-face, in SMC truly in place.
“With collective passion, synergy, and resilience, the first regional campus of Pisay shall remain a role model and an institutional icon of premier science high school education beyond the limits of geography,” said Habacon.
A series of webinars on work ethics in the new normal, language gaps between generations, mental health, and conflict management in the workplace highlights the celebration with the theme: PSHS-SMC@33: Virtually in Place.
“Your support is very much needed to cope with relevant institutional adjustments. Your unity and collaboration shall serve a potent to move forward while creating relevant programs, complying to standards of excellence, achieving greater heights, and sustaining new processes and mechanisms that meet the needs of the times,” Habacon added.
