With #ClimateChange increasing global temperatures and causing frequent and more intensive typhoons, damage to existing water and sanitation systems will be imminent unless we learn to adapt and mitigate the impact.
Supported by UNICEF, over 100 students from 16 campuses of the Philippine Science High School System compete in the Kids Innovation Challenge. The challenge encourages students to propose innovative solutions in treating drinking water and degrading human fecal waste. Winning designs will be tested in communities in the #Bangsamoro Region where access to safely managed water and sanitation remains a problem.
